Four Cities. One Title.
This year’s structure is simple. Four qualifiers. One final.
Qualifier Dates:
- Sept 6 – TCH Exeter
- Sept 13 – TCH Liverpool South
- Oct 11 – TCH Reading
- Oct 18 – TCH Edinburgh
The top performers from each round will make it through to the Final on Nov 15 at TCH Sheffield. There’ll be exclusive prizes, workshops from top-tier athletes, and the kind of climbing you don’t usually get to see unless you’re watching World Cups on your phone.

Beyond the Scorecard
What separates the Hangar Games from your average youth comp isn’t just the scale. It’s the attitude.
Yes, there’ll be fresh comp blocs at every round, but the real draw is the environment: inclusive, energetic, and focused on developing talent without burning kids out. You don’t need to be a prodigy to show up here. You just need to climb.
Workshops and Q&A sessions will be led by pro athletes (some names you’ll recognise immediately), and there’s dedicated space for parents and supervisors to actually learn something useful. No more awkward spectating from the sidelines.

After Hours
Once the youth comp wraps each night, the doors stay open for the grown-ups.
The Hangar Games Hangout kicks off in the evening, using the same comp blocs but for adult climbers. Entry is £10, and it’s open to both members and non-members. If you’ve ever wanted to throw yourself at a set built for national-level youth climbers, this is your chance.

What It Costs
- Youth competitors: £27
- Supervisors: £2
- Hangout (adult comp): £10 (plus standard centre entry for non-members)

Why It Matters
The Hangar Games is quietly becoming one of the more interesting things happening in UK climbing, not because of its production value, but because of the way it brings people together. There’s pressure, sure. But there’s also real space for young climbers to test themselves without the overblown intensity that can make comps feel inaccessible.
If you're a youth climber (or raising one), this series is worth showing up for. Not for the title, necessarily, but for what it represents: community, progression, and a national comp that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still delivers.

Finals go down in Sheffield on November 15. Will we see you there?
